Hi Lesley!
Can you believe that I have never been to the International Food and Wine Festival without kids? I have tried tons of tasty foods, but no "adult beverages." Don't worry, I plan on making up for this and more when I take my Girls Only trip this weekend!!!
Of course, I can't leave the birthday girl hangin'! I checked out the menus for this year and have made my own list of libations that I plan on sampling while I am there. I can't wait to try the Royale Tangerine Mimosa in the Morocco pavillion, a few sips of wine here and there and then on to France. Ahhh France! I have heard fabulous things about both the Sparkling Pomegranate Kir and the Parisian Cosmo Slush.
Hello! Cosmo + Slush = Yummy! Puerto Rico has some tempting offerings as well- the Bacardi Frozen Mojito and the Bacardi Frozen Dragon Berry Colada. Of course Lesley, like good New Orleans girls, we can't leave without visiting the New Orleans booth and chasing it all down with a good old Abita beer. I must remind everyone to pace themselves, drink responsibly and let Disney do the driving!!!
I can think of no better way to spend your birthday than at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! This is my favorite of all the different holiday parties that Disney World offers - the parade is spooktacular! I'm sure that you have already registered for
free admission on your birthday, but please note that you must have a separate ticket for MNSSHP. Of course, be sure to get a good night's sleep - you are going to need it for your trip around the "World!!!"
Much pixie dust,
Jackie S.
