From BC can we walk to Epcot early in the am and then catch the Monorail to MK? It appears that WS at Epcot doesn't open until 11am on the days we are visiting. How long will it take us to reach the monorail if we can do this when walking at a mod pace?

    Hi Laura,

You'll be able to walk from the Beach Club to Epcot as soon as the Future World opens.  The ticket booths at the international Gateway will open when the park opens; you just won't be able to enter World Showcase until later in the morning.  So, in theory, you would be able to walk to the front of the park and hop on the monorail to Magic Kingdom, and it is a fun, scenic ride.

However, this is by no means the quickest transportation to Magic Kingdom.  It's quite a long walk from the International Gateway to the main entrance of the park.  Then, once you are on the monorail, you will have to switch monorails at the Transportation and Ticket Center.

The quickest route to the Magic Kingdom from Beach Club is definitely the bus - especially if you are hoping to make it there by park opening.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
