Welcome to planDisney, Kyla!
At this time, only Guests ages 3-12 can experience the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park. However, there are plenty of other
princess-centric activities around the resort that are sure to make her birthday celebration a special one!
While I've never used the phrase "princess-centric" before, as someone who is also princess-obsessed, I think it's a great term for many of
my days at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many ways to make your daughter feel special and just like a princess on her early third birthday celebration. Use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to help you locate (or find times for) any of these must-dos! Let's get started:
- Get a Celebration button at a Guest Relations location to ensure everyone knows she's celebrating!
- While visiting Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to stop by Sir Mickey's. While there are plenty of places around the resort to find princess dresses, this one is the most special in my humble opinion. There's a giant beanstalk, princess apparel, and accessories galore! Plus, there's a Royal Portrait Studio where Disney PhotoPass photographers can take pictures of your daughter and family. Oh, and there is usually a Cast Member with a special wand that will happily "pixie dust" your daughter (and anyone else who wants to join in on the fun). Don't forget to make a wish!
- While it's not a princess makeover, if she'd like to get her hair cut, lightly styled, and sometimes, get some added "pixie-dust," you can make a reservation for the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street, U.S.A. Make sure she's already in her dress when it's time!
- Snag a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table to dine in the iconic Cinderella Castle, meet a bunch of princesses, and enjoy some delicious food. Hot tip: breakfast is usually cheaper and a great way to start your day full of royalty.
- Visit Princess Fairytale Hall to meet Princess Tiana, Cinderella, and some visiting princesses.
- Speaking of princesses in Magic Kingdom Park, she can get her fill by visiting Enchanted Tales with Belle, meeting Ariel at her grotto, going under the sea with her on Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, seeing Snow White on a ride on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and waving to a bunch of them during the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade.
- Want to dine with even more princesses? Don't sleep on Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT. Once again, breakfast is usually cheaper and while there are more adventurous options at lunch and dinner, breakfast has more familiar food.
- In EPCOT, she can usually meet Moana, Princess Aurora, Belle, Mulan, Jasmine, and Snow White. Plus, there's a Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along and the classic Frozen Ever After attraction.
- She can get even more Ariel (my favorite) by visiting Ariel from the live-action story at Walt Disney Presents in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Kyla, I'm just scratching the surface here. Your daughter is going to feel like royalty and be surrounded by all the princess magic she could ever dream of. And I hope that one day she returns to get the full royal treatment at Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique. But her memories of
this trip (and yours) will be just as magical!
Don't forget that
I'm here to help with any other questions you may have!
Happy birthday, Princess,
Matt
