BayLake tower 1 bedroom theme park view, recommendations?

Hiya, Ana! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!

You definitely sound like someone after my own Disney heart, Ana. Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is my favorite Disney Deluxe Villa Resort, and the One-Bedroom Villa with a Theme Park View is my absolute favorite room at Walt Disney World Resort. With its spaciousness, large windows that bring the magic right into your living room, a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and location within short walking distance of Magic Kingdom Park, it’s the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. I am more than happy to give you my recommendations for maximizing the magic in this incredible room.

My top recommendation when staying in a One-Bedroom Villa with a Theme Park View at Bay Lake Tower is to watch Happily Ever After (or any fireworks show taking place at Magic Kingdom Park) right from your fabulous room. My absolute favorite thing to do is sip either champagne or hot chocolate in my pajamas while watching the fireworks right from the living room or balcony. And the best part? You can stream the fireworks soundtrack right from your room's television! When I stayed there this summer, the Channel was 105 and was labeled "Fireworks." The screen looks just like Channel 2, but right when the fireworks begin, the music will change, just like ... magic!

I also love cooking breakfast in the full kitchen before a fun day in the parks, and you will find grocery items, wine, spirits, souvenirs and more at Fantasia Market on the 4th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort. When you cross the Sky Way Bridge on the 5th floor of Bay Lake Tower to the 4th floor of the Contemporary, the market will be located in the corner of the building directly to your right.

When you arrive at Bay Lake Tower, be sure to snap a photo of the Activities and Recreation board located in the lobby so that you will always have the schedule of activities with you, and don't forget to stop by the Community Hall on the first floor. My family and I love to participate in the adorable arts and crafts (for a small fee) and check out board games to play in our room after a day in the theme parks. You can even check out sports equipment here! I can't wait for you to discover all the magic this Resort has to offer!

I hope this helps, Ana, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time! If you have any more questions about Bay Lake Tower or your upcoming vacation in general, feel free to ask me directly. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
