How would some get from Bay Lake Tower to Storybook at Fort Wilderness?

Hey there, Elizabeth! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your Disney vacation planning question!

In just a couple of short months, you'll be arriving at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, ready to begin your magical adventure! How exciting! Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort just so happens to be one of my Home Resorts and my very favorite Disney Vacation Club Resort! When I'm staying there, I just feel an extra buzz of magic in the air! Watching the monorail soar by from my room, having access to two oh-so-fun feature pools and staying within walking distance to Magic Kingdom Park make this Resort unbeatable! I love having easy access to countless nearby dining options, and Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White might just be my all-time favorite dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort! Located at the elegantly rustic Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you are immediately transported to an enchanted forest to enjoy every delicious course with Snow White and her friends. When I'm not at Walt Disney World Resort, I find myself daydreaming about the mushroom bisque, the gnocchi entree and the desserts, so I have made many a trip from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort over to Artist Point to satisfy my cravings and enjoy this dining experience time and time again!

Elizabeth, my favorite way to travel from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge is to catch the water taxi. It's a scenic, slow-moving trip through Bay Lake from one Resort directly over to the other and is an attraction in and of itself. It's the perfect, beautiful ride to set the tone for your upcoming magical forest dining experience. However, if watercrafts aren't your thing, you could always take the short walk over to Magic Kingdom Park to hop a bus over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Heigh-ho, heigh-ho! It's off to a delicious dinner you go!

Elizabeth, you are in for quite the magical adventure, and I'm so excited for you! Please stop by any time with any of your planning questions!

I hope to see ya real soon!
