I have a Bay Lake Tower reservation later this year. I have family who would like to visit me one day at the resort during my stay. Is there free visitor parking for guests of the resort?

Hey there, Kelli! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There’s nothing like a vacation to Walt Disney World, especially when additional family members are planning to come visit you!

As you know, you can absolutely have visitors come and visit you for the day while you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort! In fact, visiting Walt Disney World Resorts is a great way to see which one might fit you for a future vacation (and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a great choice).

Disney does offer complimentary standard self-parking for day guests while enjoying select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences at Disney Resort hotels. While outside guests are not specifically listed, have your family inform the Cast Member at the front gate at your Walt Disney World Resort that they are visiting you and have them give your name and they’ll do everything that they can to work their magic.

You might even consider booking a dining reservation at Chef Mickey’s with everyone listed on the reservation. This way you’ll all be able to grab a great meal and meet the mouse himself, Mickey!

If you have any other questions please let us know! Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
