What is the Bay Lake Tower pool like? Is it as nice as the Beach Club?

Hi there Sara! I've had the pleasure of vacationing at Bay Lake Tower AND the Yacht/ Beach Club and have really enjoyed both pools!

From an adult's perspective, Bay Lake Tower's pool area tends to be more serene and private, partially owing to the fact that it is nestled along a quiet section of Bay Lake. Also, since access to the pool area is via your Key to the World card only, it feels almost like your own exclusive, private paradise that just happens to be equipped with an exciting (and fast) Mickey Mouse water slide!

I decided to ask my 9 year old daughter for a kid's point of view on the two resort pools. She recommended Stormalong Bay at the Yacht/ Beach Club because of it's enormous size, higher activity level with lots of children building sandcastles in the sand bottom section of the pool, the lazy river area and the amazing pool slide that zooms right down a ship's mast!

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Wishing you many magical and fun times at whichever resort pool you choose to create your Disney vacation memories!
