Where is the battery pack located that is referred to in this thread? Our hand built lightsaber quit working

    Hi Leigh, welcome to planDisney!

Unfortunately, I can’t see the exact thread you are referring to, but luckily, I always have a lightsaber available to practice my dueling skills.

The batteries are stored in the base of the lightsaber hilt. Unscrew the base counterclockwise to reveal the battery pack. Push the black battery pack in and twist it counterclockwise to release the battery pack. Once you remove the battery pack, you’ll need a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the pack. The lightsaber requires three AAA batteries. When reassembling your lightsaber, take note of the red arrow on the battery pack and the red arrow inside the hilt; the arrows should be aligned to properly reinstall the battery pack.

I hope this helped, Leigh. I’m sure you had a great time building your lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. Did you know you can buy kyber crystals at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities to change the color of your lightsaber blade? That means you can continue to use the lightsaber you designed, but you can change the kyber crystal if you decide to change which side of the force you’re on.  If you have any future questions, please come back and see me at planDisney!

May the Force be with you!
