Do the bathrooms in the parks have AC?

    Hello, Nenette,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Rest assured, the restrooms at the Walt Disney World theme parks have air-conditioning. However, there are some special events like the races at RunDisney or celebrations like New Year's Eve where additional portable restrooms are used which may not have air conditioning.

The restroom map on the Walt Disney World website indicates companion restrooms if you need those, and the My Disney Experience Mobile app also shows restrooms and companion restrooms.  You can also see Hand Sanitizer Locations on the website and app, too.

Would you believe there are actually blogs and videos devoted to Walt Disney World restrooms?  Many guests have compiled lists of their favorite ones and shared their thoughts about them.  If you are curious, a quick internet search will lead you to this unique and interesting topic.  I have to admit, there are some amazingly themed restrooms!  My favorite is the Tangled restroom in the Magic Kingdom (the map lists it as the Restrooms near "it's a small world").  Rapunzel has filled the women's restroom with her beautiful art that it almost feels as if you are in her tower.  The courtyard outside the restroom is filled with lanterns (especially beautiful at night) and even has phone charging stations.  And if you look closely at the gardens across from Rapunzel's Tower, look for 10 of Pascal's chameleon friends who are hiding.  Since they are chameleons, they may be a different colors!

Wishing you a Disney day!  Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Kara
