Hi Amy! Welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you're planning a very special visit to the Disneyland Resort. I'm happy to help answer your questions and get you on your way!
I spoke with a very friendly Cast Member at the Disneyland Hotel who confirmed that generally the number of bedrooms corresponds with the number of bathrooms at Disneyland Resort Hotels, however, in my experience, some suites do have an additional half-bath in the living room area in addition to a full bathroom in the bedroom. Feel free to give "
Hotel Reservations" a call, if you'd like to make a request for a suite with 1.5 bathrooms. Although room requests can't be guaranteed, Cast Members will do their best to accommodate requests from Guests when they can.
For more details on all Disneyland Resort Hotel room and suite types, visit
the Disneyland website. The pictures will also help you get a lay of the land, as well as a peek into the magical theming.
If you do find yourself at
Disneyland Hotel, Amy, even if just passing through the beautiful property, make sure to check out the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad diorama in the Frontier Tower Lobby. The diorama was built to a 1/4" to 1' scale of Frontierland's famous coaster and is a recreation of the original model used by Imagineers in the 1970s to create Big Thunder. It's incredible and my family, including two young sons, can't get enough of taking in every little detail.
I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, Amy, and that you'll be immersed in the magic soon! As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me another question! The parks are so sparkly right now for the
70th Celebration! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time, like where to find my favorite
70th Celebration treats or some strategies to make sure you hit all your top priorities. If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.
See you soon!
Magic awaits,
McCayla
