what does a basic ticket pkg include and how can i get the most for my money if i wanted to go to the animal pks and the water pks

    Hi Jennifer,

The basic ticket package typically includes Magic Your Way theme park tickets for the length of your stay at Walt Disney World.  These tickets permit you to enter the Disney theme park of your choice (Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, or the Magic Kingdom) each day.  It does not, however, allow you to visit more than one of these theme parks in any given day.  First time visitors often find that the Magic Your Way tickets, even without the park hopper option, fit their needs nicely.  There's so much to see and do in each of the four main parks, that few find the need to "park hop."

If you wish to visit Disney's Blizzard Beach or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, you will need to purchase a separate ticket as these are not included in the basic Magic Your Way package.  If you hope to visit the water parks more than once during your stay, you should consider adding the Water Park Fun and More option to your theme park tickets.  That will save you over the price of purchasing multiple single-day admission tickets to the water parks.

If you're hoping to see as many animals during your vacation as possible, be sure to include a side trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  There is no cost associated with visiting the beautiful animals on the savannas of this unique resort.  Similarly, take advantage of the gorgeous pool at your Disney resort.  That may prove to be a cost-effective alternative to visiting the DIsney water parks.

Wishing you a truly magical vacation, Jennifer!
