Hi, with a base ticket are you still able to return to the same park on the same day even with the park reservation system in place?

Hey there, Katherine, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

I’ve got some great news for you, Katherine. Your ticket gives you the ability to leave and return to your reserved Theme Park on the same day as many times as you’d like! My family actually prefers to use the 1-Park Per day tickets on our vacations. We enjoy the slower pace and getting the chance to experience the Theme Parks in depth. We also love that we can sneak away for a mid-day nap at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel and still head back into the Theme Parks for “round two”. A well-rested evening in the Theme Parks is the perfect way to end a Disney day!

And if you aren’t a fan of naps, I recommend using your break to grab a mid-day dining reservation at a nearby resort restaurant. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and Contemporary Resort are accessible in minutes via the monorail and offer a wide variety of dining options to satisfy any palate! Not only is this a great opportunity to experience a different resort hotel, but you also get to try some great food in the process. After all, Disney Dining is its own attraction!

I hope this helps, Katherine! Let me know if you have more questions while planning your vacation.

You’ve got a friend in me,
