    Hi Pam,

Thanks for your question!  Yes, indeed, it is free to watch the fireworks from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Even if you are not staying at this resort, you are welcome to stroll along the enchanting beach and grab a hammock or swing before Wishes erupts above Cinderella Castle.  Then stick around to see the Electrical Water Pageant as it glides along the Seven Seas Lagoon.  This is one of the most romantic spots on all of Walt Disney World property so I highly encourage you to take someone you love on this tropical adventure!  And, if you're looking for an amazing snack, purchase some frozen pineapple and vanilla soft serve ice cream at Captain Cook's before you leave the Polynesian.  This is one of my favorite treats at Walt Disney World.

Wishing you a magical evening at Disney's Polynesian Resort!

    Jill

PS.  There are also great viewing spots for fireworks at the dock and on the beach at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  You could check these out too!  The Polynesian and Grand Floridian are both easy to reach by monorail or boat.
