I think I may have an idea of what is going on. The Tip Board in the
My Disney Experience mobile app shows current wait times for attractions, as well as when the next Lightning Lane window may be booked with
Disney Genie+ service for today. It sounds like you are selecting "Book Experience" and then getting an error message. This is because Lightning Lane experiences can only be booked on the actual date you have both admission and
Disney Park Pass reservation,
beginning at 7:00 am ET. Since your trip doesn't begin for a few more days you are seeing that error message.
Let's have you double-check that all your plans are in place for your visit. First, use the menu button in the lower right corner of the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app to select "Tickets and Passes" and verify that all Guests in your party have a ticket linked to their profile. Next, use the menu button to select "Future Plans" to view the Disney Park Pass reservations you have made. Click on a Disney Park Pass to view details, and verify all Guests in your party have a reservation. If everything looks good, you should be all set! If your tickets already include Disney Genie+ service, you'll be able to book your first Lightning Lane attraction at 7:00 am on the day of your visit.
If you haven't yet purchased Disney Genie+ service, you can do that via the mobile app on the date of your theme park visit, any time after midnight. If you are interested in purchasing any Individual Lightning Lane attractions, you can make your purchase at 7:00 am if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Shades of Green, or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels. All other Guests may purchase Individual Lightning Lane attractions beginning at the scheduled park opening time.
