Hello Bernadette,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for asking a great
Disney Vacation Club question, I hope you’re loving your Disney Vacation Club Membership! My family has been Members of the Disney Vacation Club for 12 years now and it’s given us countless treasured memories of our wonderful visits to various Disney Destinations. The great thing about a DVC Membership is how it lets us customize our vacations to fit us perfectly. We can bank and borrow
Vacation Points, giving us the flexibility to plan our ideal trip. It’s all about creating that perfect getaway!
Banking and borrowing Vacation Points allows Disney Vacation Club Members to group together Vacation Points to book accommodations that perhaps could not previously be booked (based on the number of Points required). When thinking of banking Vacation Points, my first recommendation would be to take a peek at the Vacation Points Overview page. Here, you can see all of your Disney Vacation Club contracts as well as any Vacation Points available, the date of your banking window and a full statement of Vacation Point activity. It is also important to be aware of the
rules when banking Vacation Points. Vacation Points can be banked in the first 8 months of your
Use Year and all banking transactions are final.
To bank Vacation Points for future trips, head to the Disney Vacation Club website and log in to your account. Under the "My DVC" tab, click on "Bank My Vacation Points". Next, you will need to select the Vacation Points to bank by choosing the Use Year and contract from which you would like to bank Points. Enter the number of Points you wish to bank. Finally, you'll need to confirm the banking by reviewing the details and confirming the banking transaction. Once complete, you'll receive a confirmation email and you're set! If you prefer, you can always phone
Member Services for assistance with banking Vacation Points.
Bernadette, I hope this information is helpful when banking your Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points. If you have any other DVC or vacation planning questions, please revisit us at
planDisney. We'd love to help!
Welcome Home,
Candace
