I see my bands are 'active' from previous trips. But do I need to link them to my new reservation?

    Hi Rachel! Welcome to planDisney!

It is always wonderful to see a fellow Tennessean with a love for Walt Disney World Resort vacations like me! In just a few days, you will be returning to the Most Magical Place on Earth to make new memories. There is always something new to discover which is one of the things that keeps my family returning year after year!

As long as your MagicBands are active and linked to the same My Disney Experience account that your current reservation is linked to, you should be good to go! They automagically connect to each other, simply by being on the same account. Keep in mind that the batteries in MagicBands last about two years, although I have had some last longer than that.

Since MagicBands cannot be reassigned to another account once they are used, you will just want to make sure that your reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account before you begin your vacation. If not, you can do so by signing into your account, going to "My Plans," then choosing what type of reservation you need to link from the icons near the top of your planning page. It is super easy!

I hope this helps, Rachel! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
