Are bakery items at resorts considered snacks?

    Hi Romona!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation where you will be using one of the Disney dining plans. I just got back from a fantastic vacation with my best friends where we splurged and enjoyed the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan and we had so many incredible dining experiences! It is really wonderful to be able to enjoy the tasty treats throughout Walt Disney World Resort without having to worry about the cost of each individual meal and snack. After all, it's your vacation!

In my opinion, one of the best parts of a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is sampling some of my favorite snacks and treats. In fact, my girlfriends and I even made a spreadsheet with "must-do" snacks so we were sure we didn't forget anything! The Disney dining plans are great because you can use your snack entitlements for a wide variety of snacks during your trip. You will find that there are several bakery treats at the Disney Resort hotel quick service restaurants that you can purchase with your snack entitlements. When I visited just a few weeks ago, I found goodies such as donuts, croissants and crispy rice treats that I could purchase as snacks. Plus, the incredible cupcakes throughout Walt Disney World Resort can generally be redeemed as snack entitlements as well! Simply look for the purple and white dining plan symbol on menus or ask a Cast Member for information about redeeming your snack entitlements at their location.

If you have any remaining snack entitlements at the end of your trip, you can use them for goodies you can take home, such as bagged candy or Mickey crispy treats. I brought both of these things home for my boys to enjoy after my trip and they loved their yummy souvenEARs!

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app as it's the easiest way to track your dining plan entitlements during your vacation. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
