In the Bahamas, what are the best PORT ADVENTURES for a 3 1/2 and 2 year old......OR if I wait another year a 4 1/2 and 3 year old? :)

    Hi, Amy!

A Disney Cruise Line vacation to the Bahamas gives families a chance to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings while providing exciting Port Adventures for everyone.

For itineraries with ports of call in Nassau and at Castaway Cay, I recommend an excursion which includes access to the aquariums of the Atlantis Resort or the beautiful blue waters of Blue Lagoon Island. For families with preschoolers, I suggest that you take a look at the various Port Adventures and the age requirements for when you're considering your family's vacation. Remember, that on Castaway Cay, you'll have a wonderful time together as a family enjoying the beach and the water. Therefore, I usually recommend an active Port Adventure in Nassau or simply staying on the ship. If one or both of your children are too young to experience something such as the dolphin encounters or the water slides at the Atlantis' Aquaventure, you can arrange for them to enjoy one of the youth clubs on the ship during your shore excursion.

I always tell friends and family that a Disney Cruise is a chance for the family to make memories and enjoy times -- separately and together. I truly believe it's the best of both worlds for a family. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
