Ahoy, Megan! Thanks so much for coming back to planDisney with your question about your upcoming cruise. I see that you will be setting sail in less than a month, so I’m sure that you are counting down the days until you can step onboard and say that you are officially on vacation.
It sounds like you will be setting sail for
Nassau, Bahamas, and are considering the
Baha Bay Waterpark & Beach at Baha Mar (N35) excursion. Although I haven’t personally booked this particular excursion before, I can tell you that one of the best parts of booking
Port Adventures directly with Disney Cruise Line is that your reservations, tickets, and itinerary details are all taken care of for you, which does include transportation.
Due to the way that the pier is set up in Nassau, you will have an approximately 15-minute walk from the ship to and from the pick-up location. But once you arrive at the pick-up location, either a bus or minivan will take you on the approximately 20-minute drive through Nassau on your way to the natural beauty of Baha Bay. The exact vehicle type varies depending on the total number of people participating in the excursion that day, but you will be led by a guide from the ship to the pick-up location and they will direct you to your specific vehicle. When you reach Baha Bay, they will tell you when your departure time is scheduled and indicate where you need to meet to board your transportation back to the pier.
Admission to Baha Bay is included with this Port Adventure and you will also receive a lunch voucher that may be redeemed at some of the restaurants at the waterpark. Although Disney Cruise Line provides guests with towels that they can take on their excursions (as long as you promise to return them to the ship of course), you do not need to bother carrying them because you will be given access to towels at Baha Bay too.
I hope you have an amazing time on your upcoming cruise and get to soak up the sun! Whether you intend to spend the day on the waterslides or prefer to feel the sand between your toes at the beach, you are sure to enjoy your excursion in Nassau. As always, thanks for bringing your cruising questions to planDisney. Happy sailing!
