How many bags can I bring on Disney cruise dream?

    Ahoy, Sarah!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm glad you cruised on over to see us before your Disney Cruise Line vacation.  I don't know about you, but I love opening my Disney Cruise Line Navigator App each day leading up to my trip to catch a glimpse of that adorable countdown featuring some of my favorite Disney character emojis!

While my husband often saves his packing for the night before vacation, you can usually find me planning my outfits (and accompanying Minnie ears!) several days before we set sail.  When packing, each Guest can bring up to two checked bags per person.  In the weeks leading up to your cruise, you should receive luggage tags by mail.  These can be placed on your checked luggage just before you head to your departure port, but after any flights that you may be taking ahead of your cruise.  For our recent cruise on the Disney Dream, each Guest in our party received one luggage tag in our pre-cruise mailer.  Since we were traveling with some extra essentials for our toddler, we needed an additional tag, which we picked up from Disney Cruise Line porters when we arrived at the cruise terminal.  Disney has even provided a handy packing list to help you plan for your trip!

In addition to your checked luggage, you'll want to plan a carry-on bag that you can keep with you during boarding.  This should include your citizenship and travel documents, necessary medications, and any other essentials you may need during your first few hours on the ship.  Your checked luggage will be delivered directly to your stateroom later in the afternoon.  We each opted to carry a backpack as our carry-on bag on our embarkation day.

One of my favorite features of the staterooms on the Disney Dream is the storage space found under the bed.  As a family of five, we were able to fit all our suitcases beneath the bed, allowing us to make the most of the space and spread out comfortably during our four-night cruise.

I hope this information has been helpful, Sarah, and that you enjoy making many magical memories at sea!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    SEA ya real soon!
