Ahoy, Albert!
Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! You must be starting to pack for your upcoming
Disney Cruise Line cruise! The excitement in our house always goes up another level when we begin to pull out our suitcases and start packing.
Disney Cruise Line allows Guests to check in two suitcases per person. Also, Guests are allowed to board the ship on embarkation day with two carry-on bags. The carry-on bags should be no larger than 22"x14"x9" because they will need to be sent through a security scanner. We like bringing one rolling carry-on bag because we often board the ship before our stateroom is ready. Rolling our carry-on to lunch and around the ship before our room is available is much easier!
May I offer a piece of advice? My family and I have sailed on long voyages lasting 14 and 15 days. Although the staterooms on each of the Disney Cruise ships are very spacious and creatively designed with lots of storage space, I don't think we'd each bring two suitcases again! We wound up having eight large pieces of luggage that needed to be stored within our stateroom, and storing it all turned into a competitive game of Tetris. I suggest each person bring one piece of luggage and use the
laundry facilities onboard if needed!
I'm wishing you a wonderful cruise sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey! Please visit us again if you have any future questions while you're packing!
