Ahoy, Joseph!
Welcome aboard planDisney! With just a few days to go until embarkation day, it sounds like you are in full packing mode. That pre-cruise checklist moment always feels a little like getting ready for an expedition with Carl and Russell, making sure you have everything you need before the adventure lifts off.
When it comes to luggage,
each Guest may bring two large suitcases to check with the porters when you arrive at the cruise terminal. You will attach the luggage tags that were mailed to you to these bags so they can magically find their way to your stateroom. If your tags did not arrive in the mail, no worries at all. The
porters at the terminal have blank tags and markers available, and they will help make sure your bags are labeled properly and sent on their way.
In addition to your checked luggage, each member of your crew can bring carry-on bags as well. This is where you will want to pack your travel documentation, medications,
DisneyBand+ (if you plan to use one), electronics, swimsuits, and anything you may need before your luggage is delivered later that afternoon. If you are bringing beverages onboard, including alcoholic beverages, be sure to review
Disney’s alcohol policy in advance so everything goes smoothly during security screening.
One thing I always remind friends about is stateroom storage space. While you can tuck empty suitcases under the bed once you unpack, space can feel cozy. I try to pack with a little strategy so I am not living out of a mountain of clothes all week. Alaska layers are one thing, but for most sailings, a thoughtful packing plan keeps things feeling organized instead of chaotic.
I hope this helps as you put the finishing touches on your packing list. A little planning now means you will step onboard feeling confident and ready to relax.
Sea ya real soon with a little extra warmth, wonder, and Disney magic,
Dustin
