Is there a bag policy that limits the size of purse or tote you can bring to the parks?

    Hi Deb!

Thanks for coming to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As the mom to two little ones, I am always bringing lot of things with us into the theme parks. Personally, I like to bring a backpack that always includes refillable drink bottles for my kids, wipes to clean everyone's hands, snacks to make sure everyone's tummies are happy, autograph books for meeting Characters and pins to trade throughout our day. In my experience, having the right things with us in the theme parks definitely makes a magical day easier to navigate!

The Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules require that backpacks and coolers must be smaller than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. It doesn't specifically reference a size for purses or totes, but all bags are subject to being searched when you enter a theme park. Keep in mind that you will need to carry your purse or tote all day, so you don't want to bring something that will be too heavy or cumbersome. Plus, if your bag is too big, it will be hard to bring with you and keep safe while you are enjoying attractions. So I would recommend that you select a purse or tote that fits within the backpack and cooler size guidelines just to be safe.
