Hi there, Dana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's difficult summer! As a mom, I understand how hard that is on your heart, too. It sounds like you both need a magical vacation and the Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect spot for that!
I think you've chosen a great plan by picking two days at Magic Kingdom Park. This theme park has the most for little ones to enjoy. My 3-year-old daughter LOVES the characters, so we make sure to focus on that for her. Enchanted Tales with Belle, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Peter Pan's Flight and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin are all must-do attractions on her list. I suggest looking over the lists of
attractions without height restrictions, character experiences offered and entertainment available prior to your visit so you have an idea of just how much there is to do during your two day visit!
Even though your trip is close and availability will be limited, I would keep checking for dining reservations at
Character Dining locations in Magic Kingdom Park. This is such a special experience and my kids adore them! You get one-on-one time with each character available at that location during your meal. It is a really great way to avoid a few lines for characters while also keeping your tummies full!
When you arrive, stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complimentary celebration pin. They have blank ones that can be written on. Let the Cast Member know that you are celebrating your daughter's recovery and health! I think that is a great thing to celebrate!
I hope this helps, Dana! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
