Is it a bad idea for me to bring my 3 year old son o Disney World alone? I'm a single mom. I've been to WDW 5 times before, so I think I know my way around the parks fairly well. I plan on staying 10+ days in Feb of next year.

    Hello, Shannon!

I think that Walt Disney World is the perfect vacation destination for a single mom!

In fact, one of my dearest friends joined Disney Vacation Club because she felt so safe traveling to WDW on her own with two children in tow. I've brought my own children to WDW without my husband, too, and felt completely safe, relaxed and at home, more there than anywhere, really.

An acquaintance of mine also traveled to WDW every year on her own with two children, simply because her husband couldn't take the time off from work. All of us have commented how we never once regretted having taken the kids to WDW on our own.

Because Walt Disney World was created for the enjoyment of families, I'm sure you've noticed how family-friendly the parks and resorts are. Cast Members are always so willing to help, and there is so much to see and do for you and your little one...including just spending time together by your resort pool!

Best wishes for so much fun in planning your ten-day getaway with your little prince! Send me additional questions as you think of them; I'd love to help!
