Hi, Green!
Thanks so much for sending your great question to Disney Parks Moms Panel!
When we travel to
Walt Disney World, we always bring along several zippered plastic bags specifically to keep leftovers fresh for later enjoyment while touring the parks or back at our
Walt Disney World Resort hotel. However, you can ask for any leftover portion of your meal to be put in a to-go box, perfect for protecting those little morsels of magic as a late night snack...or just a little nibble as you wait to board an attraction.
You can even consider ordering items that you know will travel well: A Selection of Farmhouse and Artisanal Cheeses from
California Grill; Indian-style Bread Service from
Sanaa; Breakfast Pizza from
Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace; Char-grilled Angus Filet at
The Hollywood Brown Derby. I've taken every one of those delicious delicacies home to our resort hotel room, and everyone in the family enjoys them while relaxing after a fun-filled day in the parks. (Oh, my. Now I have a hankering for some of those pixie-dusted leftovers!)
While your Walt Disney World Resort hotel will likely have a mini-refrigerator (or even a full kitchen, if staying in a 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom
Walt Disney World Resort Deluxe Villa), some may also have a microwave in the room, perfect for heating up some of those delectable dishes. Rooms with kitchenettes that feature microwaves include Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, as well as all Studios and Villas at
Deluxe Villa Resorts.
Enjoy grazing around The World, Green. You are about to embark on a delicious tour of The Most Magical Place on Earth; as you plan, send us more questions, too. We love to help!
