Welcome to planDisney, Franz!
When we're touring
Walt Disney World, I like to know that I can access my
Theme Park Tickets in more ways than one, so I really appreciate your question. Let's take a look!
First, once you've gotten your tickets into your wallet app, all should be well with having access to all the magic that ticket unlocks for you. In dozens of trips, I've never had an issue with mine...but I like to have a backup plan, too.
You'll be pleased to know that your
My Disney Experience account also enables you to see not only your own ticket, but also details for anyone on your
Family & Friends list who is traveling with you. This means that you'll see those tickets in your
My Disney Experience app, too. No need to worry about making a backup view of your pass--Disney's already done this for you!
Franz, my husband and I visit WDW frequently, and we both have our own My Disney Experience accounts. Each of us can check on the other's park tickets in that app, if needed, so if one person's phone is acting up, the other can simply use theirs to show both. In the app, simply click on the hamburger icon on the bottom right of the screen (the three horizontal lines on top of each other), then select My Tickets & Passes from the top left. There, you'll see your ticket as well as your wife's--as long as you have linked on your Family Friends List.
We have Annual Passes, but our children do not, so we often need to check on our expiration and valid ticket dates when making future plans. Rest assured, you'll be able to see both of yours, too. This really makes the trip so much more magical because we know we both can access tickets, reservations, and other plans right through that app. So easy!
Franz, as you plan your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
