    are backpacks allowed?

    Hello Bob!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking an excellent question! It sounds like you are planning a wonderful Disneyland Resort vacation in the Happiest Place on Earth!

I have been on all the rides at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park with a backpack or small bag, so I know it can be possible through personal experience. Any backpack or bag needs to be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). Typically, I put one of my legs through one backpack strap to secure it to my body. Some rides or attractions have a small pouch to put bags in if they are smaller. There are no spots off the side of the rides to put personal belongings in, but you can rent a locker for the day if you wish to store your belongings instead of carrying them around.

I hope that your Disneyland Resort vacation is truly incredible in every way!
