Can you take a backpack in the parks with water bottles and snacks for the kids.

Hi, Tammy!   You are certainly allowed to carry snacks and water in your backpack.   This is a great way to save some money.    I also like bringing my own water bottles just as a time saver.   I don't want to spend half my day waiting in line every time one of my kids needs a drink!

There is a bag check before entering the parks, so have your backpacks, purses, etc. open and ready for Security to do a quick check.  After that, you are on your way to the magic!    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
