I backpack with freeze-dried meals camping stores sell. Using those in the park would be easier (no packing lunces in a hotel room). The only thing I'd need is boiling water. There is a red tap on most coffee pots. Any of those in the MK?

Hi, Janice! Although I don't claim to be an "outdoorsy" type (most ballerinas aren't!), I do have a slew of Boy Scouts who live in my house with a whole room dedicated to backpacking and camping equipment and supplies.  Therefore, I am quite familiar with the "tasty" treats you describe! :)

My suggestion to you is to eat your meals during off times so that counter-service staff will be more receptive to your requests.  Then, go up to the counter (off to the side) and ask for a large cup of very hot/boiling water.  They should be able to provide this for you, and if they are reluctant, you can offer to pay for a cup of water. (I used to ask for hot water when I would warm bottles for my babies.)  Yet, it's not a typical request. So, that's the reason for my advice to go during times where the Cast Members aren't swamped with those guests who are paying for their meals.

The largest container of water they will give you will be the large paper cups.  Therefore, you may want to put some thought into a larger (collapsible) container in which to drop several pouches. I sure hope this helps you plan! Come back if you have more questions.

I hope you have a beautiful day and a magical vacation!
