Hi Melissa,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Melissa, I’ve personally never taken a collapsible chair into the Theme Parks, but the
Theme Park Rules do state that any type of “folding chair” can’t be brought in. I’m guessing that includes any means of sitting other than strollers, ECVs, or wheel chairs that are needed for guests.
My suggestion would be to not bring the chair into the Theme Parks. This way, if you can’t bring it in, you aren’t sent back to your car or to your Resort and spending time storing the chair.
There are plenty of places to sit within the Theme Parks like benches, chairs outside of a
restaurant, or even inside an attraction. Sometimes it’s nice to just go sit and relax in attraction like
Mickey’s PhilharMagic,
Muppet Vision 3D, or even
The Hall of Presidents. I suggest being strategic with your breaks for food and attractions that way you won’t miss your collapsible chair because you’ll be relaxing throughout the day!
I know this wasn’t the answer you were looking for, but I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful in your planning. If you have any other questions in the meantime, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
