Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by! It looks like you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow. How exciting! Let's get you set to go.
I think you're asking if you can take a backpack into the theme parks. I'm very pleased to tell you that you certainly may take a backpack. The
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that backpacks are permitted so long as they are no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. When my kids were little and I had to pack diapers, wipes, and lots of other baby gear, I always packed a rather large backpack for our theme park adventures and even my large backpack was well within the size requirements. Now that my kids are a little older, I don't need to pack quite as much, but I still pack sunscreen, snacks, hand sanitizer, bandaids, ponchos, resealable Ziploc bags (they come in handy for all sorts of reasons!), bottled water, and important medications. Take a few minutes to look over the list of prohibited items so you're well prepared before you arrive at the security checkpoints at the theme park entrances.
Be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app before your visit tomorrow. It's magic at your fingertips! You can use this convenient tool to view current wait times for attractions,
place Mobile Food and Beverage Orders, locate restrooms and water fountains, preview your Disney PhotoPass photos, and more!
I hope this was helpful. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
