HI, just got back from a wonderful trip and would like to plan another around Christmastime. Is there one resort over another that you would suggest is the most special that time of year ? I was thinking of Wilderness Lodge, but am open to any suggestions

You know what they say about wise minds, right Sue?  You are on the right track planning for a holiday trip at the Wilderness Lodge.  The rustic charm and woodsy feel of that resort would make it my personal first choice for a holiday trip.  There are those, though, who would prefer a stay at Disney's Grand Floridian.  As Disney's flagship resort, the Grand Floridian goes all out for Christmas, going so far as to build a life-size gingerbread house right in the lobby.  Some might say that The Grand Floridian's Victorian-themed Christmas tree rivals that of the Wilderness Lodge, but I think the cozy decor of the Wilderness Lodge is more my personal holiday style.  Truly, you can't go wrong with either, but if it were my trip, I'd go with the Wilderness Lodge.  And do look into booking a sleigh ride while you're there; they depart from Pioneer Hall at the Fort Wilderness campground.  Have a festive trip!
