I just got back from a wonderful cruise on the Disney Fantasy. I slept so well & I was hoping you could tell me where to find the pillows and mattress/linens in the oceanviews rooms? I didn’t overheat or have neck pain. True Disney Magic!

Well, hello there, Elizabeth! Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at planDisney. There’s something about the ocean that has a way of calling us back, and it sounds like you felt that Disney Cruise Line magic, too.

It’s probably obvious that I’m a big fan of Disney and truly believe in the Disney magic you mentioned. I thought I had experienced all levels of it…that is, until I stepped onto my very first cruise with Disney Cruise Line last week. As I’m sure you’re well aware, the service, the spaces, the entertainment, the food…it all felt like stepping into a dream. But what surprised me most is how that feeling stays with you, like the ocean never really leaves you once you’ve experienced it. We even reserved a Placeholder Reservation for our next cruise! It already feels like the beginning of something I’ll keep returning to, just like Moana can't ignore the call of the ocean.

The Euro-top style mattresses on Disney Cruise Line ships are typically made by a Miami, Florida-based company called Biscayne Bedding International. The pillows are usually the New Generation Pillow by Harbor Linen, and the sheets are often Cruise Sateen sheets by Frette. It all comes together to create a rest that feels like being gently rocked by the ocean, just like Moana must feel when she's sailing beneath the stars.

Now, if you find a way to make your bedroom, or at the very least your mattress, gently rock you to sleep like being on a cruise, please reach back out and let me know. I can certainly use a sound machine to mimic the waves, or just ask Hey Disney! on my Echo Show device to play the Moana soundscape. But, if we both want the full experience, I guess we’ll just have to book that next cruise! After all, sometimes “the sea, it calls me.” Where are you going next? I’m heading to Alaska!

Elizabeth, best wishes as you channel that peaceful Disney Cruise Line sleep. May all of your days be filled with that true Disney magic until the next time you’re able to board a cruise.

Please reach out again if you have any other questions. I’ll be right here, just like the ocean, always waiting.

Keep your eye on the line where the sky meets the sea,
    Matt
