We just got back 2 weeks ago from WDW and cant wait to go back! We are planning on going back May 2014, when will I be able to start planning and making reservations online for this?

    Hi, Jennifer!

Thanks for your great question. I’m so glad to hear you’re already itching to plan your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I hope your next visit is just as magical as the last!

You can actually reserve accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel up to 499 days in advance by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639). You can currently book rooms through the Walt Disney World website for check-in dates up to and including Dec. 31, 2013 only, so you must call to reserve dates in 2014 rather than book online. As of now, you’ll only be able to reserve a hotel room, not packages that include extras like park tickets or the Disney Dining Plan, for dates in 2014. You will be reserving your room at the 2013 rates, but when the rates and package details for 2014 are released (typically in the late summer) your rate will be automatically adjusted to reflect the current prices. You can also make a room-only reservation to be converted into a vacation package after next year’s rates are announced.

So, feel free to call now to secure your desired travel dates. After all, there’s no time like the present, especially when it comes to planning another pixie-dusted family vacation! I hope this helps, Jennifer. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
