Just got back from WDW & want to start planning trip #6. My parents r going with us next yr& It'll b their 1st visit. We have always gone in June& love it but r considering Oct.so it wont b so hot on them. Will it still b warm enough 2 swim &am

    Hi Misti,

Sometimes I start planning my next Walt Disney World vacation before I've left the property! We traveled with my parents several times and have great memories from those trips. October just happens to be my favorite time to visit the parks. The weather is usually warm enough for swimming, even hot some days, but slightly less humid than the summer!

October just happens to be when some of my favorite special events take place. I highly recommend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom Park. Our whole family loves the decorations, trick-or-treating in the park, and the special entertainment. We also look forward to the Epcot International Food And Wine Festival. Suddenly my picky eaters become adventurous when trying treats from different countries.

I feel like your question might have gotten cut off, so please let me know if I can help you any further! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
