Going back to WDW in a month and very torn between staying at the Contemporary and the Poly. We'll be 3 adults and a 2-year old and we'll be getting 2 adjoining rooms. Heard the noise at Contemporary Tower can be pretty bad. Would Poly be better for us?

Hi Brent,

Welcome to the Moms Panel! Deciding on a resort is always one of the most difficult decisions for me, although I love to try new places - it's tough to stay away from the resorts that simply "work" for my family.

I stayed at the Contemporary Resort for the first time in December, and one of the first things I noticed was how noisy it was. Not terrible while I was in my room with the door shut (I was at the end of the hallway), but as soon as that door opens all you hear is the noise from below. Personally, I would opt for the Polynesian for this specific reason. I love the quiet and calm, laid-back feeling that the Polynesian provides.
