I am going back to WDW July 2015. I am interested in staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. However, I am scared of the size of the resort and the bus stops. Is the resort so big that I would regret staying there? Are the internal bus stops a hassle?

Hi Heather!  I'm so happy you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Caribbean Beach resort is actually my favorite resort on property.  My family and I have stayed there more times than any of the other resorts.  I'm not going to sugar coat it, the resort is big, but I have never seemed to mind.  I don't think anything about staying there is a hassle, I actually enjoy the walk from whatever building we are in to the food court and main bus stop area.  I have actually stayed in the furthest building from the main area several times and I think the walk takes us about 10 minutes.  That's not too bad considering the size of the resort.  We actually don't use the internal shuttles, but if you chose too, it would be just like any other bus ride at Walt Disney World.

The resort itself is so much fun.  We really enjoy the pool area with it's two water slides, water cannons for extra play and two hot tubs for relaxation at the end of the day.  My daughter loves the nightly marshmallow roasts down by the white sandy beaches.  She swears marshmallows taste better at Walt Disney World.  My husband's favorite part of the resort are the hammocks they have hanging all around by the water.  He has been known to fall asleep in them several times!  I personally love the beautiful lush landscape, it really makes you feel like you are in a Caribbean paradise.

I recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to all of my friends, and I hope you give it a shot too. Wherever you choose to stay, I am sure you will have a magical, memorable vacation.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
