We just got back from WDW in Feb and already planning our next trip for Sept 2013.What typically is the difference in package prices from year to year. Just trying to see if I can look at this years pricing and get a round about amount to plan for. Thanks

    Hi Kristine,

Unfortunately, price fluctuation on Walt Disney World vacation packages have been relatively unpredictable lately.  Since the economy took a downturn in 2008, Disney has offered an extraordinary array of discounts and promotions to help guests find affordable ways to vacation at the most magical place on earth.  Theme park tickets typically climb 2-3% each year but vacation package prices have stayed relatively stable.  In fact, during February and September, the months of your recent and future vacations, resort and package prices have been very good.  We've seen free dining promotions in September in recent years.  I'd love to snag one of those promotions some time.  What an incredible savings they represent!

I heartily encourage you to follow the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website.  That's where they'll publish promotions that might apply to your proposed travel dates in September.  You also may want to enlist the help of a Disney-savvy travel agent who could help you keep an eye out for good deals.

Have fun planning your next Disney vacation.  I'm so pleased to hear that your memories from February were truly magical.  Feel free to write back with additional questions if you have any.
