Just got back from WDW in April, did not rent a car. BC it was chilly waiting for buses early am and late pm with the kids in April.. thinking about renting one for trip in dec (10-17) d/t even colder weather. Are the bus stops heated in winter? Thoughts?

    Hi Heather!!!

The time you have selected is a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!!  The crowds are very manageable and all the Christmas decorations are up and are so beautiful!!!

Yes, the buses are heated in the winter months.  The difference with December weather is that you most probably will be wearing pants most of the time compared to probably not wearing them in April.  I think this might make your wait time for Disney Transportation a little more manageable.  I am a huge fan of Disney Transportation and avoid dealing with my own vehicle when on vacation.  However, if you feel that the weather will be an issue when waiting for transportation, a rental car might not be a bad idea.

I hope this helps and that you have a very magical trip!!
