HI, We just came back from Walt disney world! We loved it! Starting to plan for this year. For 2012 we want to stay at the resort and have the dining plan. Which one will you recomend for 2 boys 8 & 5, and 2 adults? thanks for your help

Welcome back Luisa!  Planning another Disney trip will be fun and glad to see you are starting early.

Walt Disney World offers so many incredible dining options and it is hard to pick and choose those you wish to experience during your stay.  With younger children I often suggest the regular 2012 Dining Plan which includes one Table Service meal, one Quick Service meal, and one snack per person per day.  Our family always enjoyed the opportunity to sit down at a restaurant one time during the day to refresh and remember everything that we had done.  It was nice to sit and have someone else bring the food to us!  You can make dining reservations for either the lunch or dinner hours and then fill in with a quick service meal at the other times.

You can save a little bit of money by going strictly the Quick Service plan but again I feel that the once a day restaurant dining will be worth the expense for the tired boys and parents.

If you think you will be interested in an abundant amount of fine dining or character dining you might want to bump your plan up to the Deluxe Dining where you can put two meal credits toward these more expensive options.

You can read more about all of the 2012 Dining Plans by going to the Disney website. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/planning-guides/in-depth-advice/disney-dining-plan/

Have fun with the planning journey!
