Back in 2013, we visited Disneyland and did a Fantasmic dessert party, which gave us a reserved seating area to watch the show. We’re visiting again soon, but I can’t find any information on this… has it been cancelled?

Hey there Alexandra, welcome to planDisney!

Fantasmic! is our family's favorite nighttime spectacular.  It's a must-see show for us each trip, there's nothing more exciting than seeing Mickey first appear on the Rivers of America!

There are a few options for Fantasmic! Dining Packages where you get to enjoy a delicious dinner from either Blue Bayou Restaurant, River Belle Terrace, or Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Disneyland Park.  There are packages for lunch starting at 11:00 AM, and 3:30 PM for dinner, and you can begin to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance.  We love to do a Fantasmic! Dining Package so we do not have to arrive too early to get a great seat to enjoy the show since there is a reserved viewing location included in each dining package.

Over at Disney California Adventure Park, there is a World of Color Dessert Party for their nighttime spectacular, World of Color.  You'll enjoy a selection of delicious sweet and savory treats and access to a reserved seating area.  It is the only place where you can take a seat to enjoy the show, which is so nice at the end of a long park day.  World of Color - ONE is currently closed for refurbishment, but you can check the entertainment schedule and dining reservation availability as your trip gets closer.

If you're having trouble making dining reservations or any plans for your vacation, I recommend also connecting with a local travel agent.  A local travel agent in your area specializing in trips to the Disneyland Resort will be a great resource to ensure your family has a smooth trip over to the States!

I hope this helps answer your question, Alexandra!  Don't hesitate to follow-up with me directly if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day!
