    Just got back from our stay at the contemporary and loved it, I am starting to plan our 2012 vacation and am torn between hotels, anyone ever stayed at the poly, is it better than the contemporary?

    Hi Tara!
    I have stayed at both the Contemporary and the Polynesian and like them both equally, but for different reasons. I think that the "Poly" has better theming and a better pool, whereas the Contemporary has better views of the Magic Kingdom and a smaller layout. Both have adequate shopping and dining, so that's about a tie. If you are looking for something new, I say "go for it"  it's a great resort. If you like the Contemporary enough that you don't want to risk staying somewhere new, then at least you know what you are in for. That said, c'mon, live a little!!
