Back in 2001, they did not offer "Magic Your Way" or "No Expiration Date" options for WDW tickets. Does that mean that tickets purchased that long ago are automatically grandfathered in as having no expiration date?

    Hi Jennifer,

Prior to 2005, all Walt Disney World park tickets had no expiration date.

I am therefore very happy to tell you that any unused days on park tickets purchased before 2005 are still good for park admission.

In order to save any confusion or delay when using these tickets to enter a park, I would recommend that you visit one of the Guest Relations offices at any the four theme parks and show them your old tickets. They will have a scanner that can read them to verify that any encoding on them still works. If any problems are encountered, they will be able to reissue you with replacement tickets which will go through the current turnstiles much easier.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
