Hi, Stacey! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is less than a week away! You must be getting so excited! The
holiday season is one of my favorite times to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. As you get ready for your trip, be sure to check out these Disney Parks Moms Panel
tips for making the most of the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
For me, vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort is all about honoring family traditions while making new memories. I absolutely love your idea of carrying on your family tradition of having silhouette portraits made. This is sure to be a Christmas gift that your parents will treasure for yEARs to come!
You will likely see various artists drawing portraits and caricatures throughout the Walt Disney World
theme parks and
resort hotels. However, one place that I have consistently noticed artists creating silhouette portraits is in Liberty Square at
Magic Kingdom Park. You should be able to find a silhouette portrait cart in Liberty Square near
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. While you're outside of Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, be sure to snap a picture with the sleigh that sits in front of this quaint store. It makes a beautiful backdrop for holiday photos!
If you're planning to do some holiday shopping at
Disney Springs, you could also have your
silhouette portraits made at the booth that can be found in the Disney Springs Marketplace. During your visit to Disney Springs, you can also take a festive holiday stroll through the
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. These Disney-inspired Christmas trees are sure to put you in the holiday spirit!
Wishing you a merry Christmas and a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
