Hi Moms :) Going back and forth between 1st week of May (2011) and last week of September (2011) for a trip to Disney World! It will be myself, husband and our two daughters ages 6 and 3 ..... feel like I cannot wait to September!!! Any advice? Thx!!

    Hello Russell,

I love problems like these because it looks like you are in a win-win situation!

I checked with the gurus over at TouringPlans.com, and it seems that both the first week of May and the last week of September have reasonable crowd levels. As you might suspect, crowd levels are significantly less in the fall. But I understand not wanting to wait the few extra months for a vacation!

I have visited Florida in both months, and the weather is fantastic. And any threat of severe weather in the fall has usually passed by month's end.

So it really comes down to whether you want to see the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival or celebrate at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

Hope this helps! Happy trip planning!
