Just got back from our first Disney Cruise. We had a blast and the Marvel Day at Sea was fun. I am wondering if DCL ever plans to bring back the Stars Wars Day at Sea? We are much bigger Star Wars fans and that would definitely convince us to book another.

Bright Suns, Tyler. It makes my heart happy knowing that you are now a fellow Disney Cruise-loving voyager! The Marvel Day at Sea is truly a unique experience, so I’m glad you flew by planDisney to ask about other galactic adventures onboard the ships.

My son and I just rewatched the three Star Wars movie trilogies over the holiday break while he was home from college, so believe me, I understand your excitement when it comes to finding Star Wars experiences. Unfortunately at this time, we don’t know if and when the Star Wars Day at Sea will return. That being said, I have a couple of suggestions for Star Wars fans of all ages in your clan.

My first recommendation is to book a sailing on the Disney Wish, where you’ll find the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. Located just across from The Bayou on Deck 3, this lounge makes you feel like you’re sitting in a starcruiser while sipping on signature cocktails inspired by the Star Wars saga. While this immersive space is reserved for adults 18 and older after 9 PM, Jedi Younglings can visit during the day and enjoy a mocktail as well.

Speaking of younglings, children ages 3-10 can experience Star Wars: Cargo Bay in the Oceaneer Club on the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. They’ll get to participate in a series of special assignments throughout their cruise, including a mission involving Rey and Chewbacca. Even if you’re a more seasoned Star Wars fan not within that age range, the Youth Activities Cast Members will host Open Houses on select days where Guests of all ages can check out the themed spaces and even participate in some activities of their own inside Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab.

Finally, you just might find Star Wars trivia offered on your next cruise, but there’s no way to know in advance and it’s not guaranteed. Just make sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your next sailing and you’ll have all the scheduled activities right in the palm of your hand.

To stay in the know for any announcements about future Star Wars Days at Sea, sign up for email updates on DisneyCruise.com and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Cruise Line’s Instagram page too. If rebellions are built on hope, I’m going to believe our collective powers might just will this into being in the not-so-distant future. If you think of anything else in the meantime, Tyler, I hope you’ll bring your questions back to me here at planDisney.

May the Force be with you,
    Sami
