Just got back a few weeks ago and already we are planning our next trip. Wanting to go with a large group of 10 in May. Is it best to stay at a Delux Villa with that many ppl or get multiple rooms at a value resort. Any other advice for a large group?

Hi Cierra! This can be a hard decision when planning a trip with a large group. If it is a group that you are comfortable being with 24/7 then one large villa can be fun. But from past experience we have enjoyed being able to go back to our own room and have some down time from family or friends who we have spent the entire day with. Children need a break and a quiet haven as well and separate rooms offers the best way to keep them calmed down for naps and night bedtimes. You might consider the new Art of Animation value resort which offers regular rooms and family suites which are  nice.

My best suggestion for large groups when it comes to dining is to not worry about sitting together at one table. Most restaurants are not equipped to put 10 together but they will be able to put you next to each other at two tables.  We used to play a game for every meal where we would draw names for each table and that allowed you to never know who you might get to sit with. It was a great way to catch up with friends and family members  and it would often change at each meal. Of course small children were always placed with at least one of the parents but children two and over were put in the mix which was so much fun. Two small tables also allow better conversation then one large table where you can hardly see the person at the other end.

My last thought is to pick meeting places throughout the day versus always trying to stay together to experience attractions. If there is a wide range of ages in the group this certainly works best.

Have a great time planning for this next Disney trip! Let us know what we can do to help!
