Is the back entrance of Epcot within walking distance of Yacht Club Resort and about how far is it.

    Hi Donna,

The Yacht Club Resort is my favorite of the Epcot area resorts. I love its quiet elegance and its proximity to Epcot. It takes just about 10 minutes to walk to the International Gateway entrance. Within moments, you will be in the World Showcase.

The resort has lots of wonderful amenities: Yachtsman Steakhouse, Crew's Cup Lounge (one of my top lounges in all of Walt Disney World) and, of course, the Stormalong Bay pool and water play area. The Yacht Club is attached to the Beach Club Resort, so you have easy access to the Cape May Cafe and Beaches and Cream as well. It also will take you just moments to walk from your resort along the Boardwalk with its shops, shopping, dining and entertainment.

Additionally, the Yacht Club Resort is within easy walking distance to Disney's Hollywood Studios. It takes just 15 to 20 minutes to stroll along the water to the theme park. You can take a water taxi to either theme park from the Yacht Club marina, but my family find its easier and faster to walk.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
