    Just got back from DW and are planning return trip for 2010. We were there from 10-6 to 10-12. It was so crowded during Columbus Day Weekend. When does that crowd die down? We are look at coming the Wed. after Columbus Day.

    Typically travelers extend their vacations by visiting WDW over a holiday weekend and then add on a few extra days to their trip.

    For a weekend such as Columbus Day weekend, you'll see crowds from the Saturday prior to the holiday until mid-week after the Monday holiday. In 2009, I would arrive on or after October 14th, Wednesday. The busiest crowds will be seen Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
